The 50 kW wind turbine 

This 50kW wind turbine is newly designed in Canada for 2008.  It is the most powerful wind turbine that is entitled to double ROCs or sub 50kW Feed in Tariffs in the UK.

The 50kw wind turbine is also engineered to have constant rotational speed of a relaxing 49 rpm. This makes it inaudiable from 200m, and less than 45dB at 100m which is the critical noise level for the minimum distance to neighbours. 

The wind turbine blades are oversized to deliver maximum energy in low wind speeds - expect 160,000 kwh pa in 6m/s laminar wind.
