Kim Williams, North Yorkshire's Carbon Reduction Manager, evaluated all available small turbines for a prestigious spot in front of their new council offices.

He selected the 6kW Eoltec Scirocco after a thorough analysis of the turbines on the market looking at design and power production.

As well as demonstrating leadership in the community, the wind turbine provides educational opportunities for local schools.
